"Our dog is already trained, knows all the basic commands. She just needed some reinforcement because she can get excited when there are other people in the house and she's prone to jumping on them. She also loves walks and would actively ignore commands to come inside after. We purchased this so she'll be more consistent with following commands. One or two taps of the vibration button is usually enough to get her to comply. A few things to note - this collar is weatherproof. We accidentally left it out in snowy weather and it worked just fine the following morning. The collar strap is not that impressive but it's serviceable. Finally - do NOT leave the collar on for hours on end. It's only meant to be worn a few hours at a time. Leaving it on all day can result in sores."

This saved my dog from the pound.

My boxer was spoiled as a puppy. She was never trained, very unruly. I love her but after trying to bite my sister, I was faced with a hard choice. Either I find a way to get her to behave better or I have to give her up. I didn't want to give my baby up. This collar made sure I didn't have to.

I did have to use shock at the beginning because she can be very hard-headed. But by the second week, she's much more calm and I was able to take her out without fear that she'll terrorize other dogs. Right now, I'm only using vibrationa and the beep for training. I am so happy with this. My dog is happy, too. No regrets buying this at all.

Love everything but the tone

I had a SportDog collar before. Our older dogs were trained on them and they all worked very well. This new model is better in a lot of ways. It charges fast and the battery lasts longer. The only reason it lost some stars is the beep volume isn't very loud.
