Would be nice to have separate tones

It would be nice to have separate tones for point and locate. This is very loud and if the sound can be adjusted it would be perfect. Nice color.

Great trainer but shame about the beeper

This was purchased because I hunt a lot and wanted a beeper function with the usual remote trainer options. This one has multiple levels of stimulation, vibration, tone, and the beeper function I wanted. Unfortunately, the beeper on this model is absolutely horrible. It sounds like a bird being electrocuted. I finally just turned it off because it was so distracting to me and bothersome to the dog. I love Sport Dog collar but come on.

Great value and battery life

SportDOG collars are great value. I had one for over a decade and it worked great (with a few battery changes). I decided to get a newer model and ended up with this and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. My dog started responding to training on day 1 and I only had the collar on vibrate and tone. We're now working hard and learning to flush out birds. The range on this is great too. It's waterproof. The sound is loud enough. My hunting buddy purchased the same model because he saw how well it worked for my dog. Thank you.

Good range

This collar has great range. The locator is a good feature. This is easy to set up and use. It's easy to hear over long distances.

Not happy with the beeper design

I needed a collar to use while hunting in tall grasses. This was recommended by a hunting buddy. The transmitter worked great but I am not as happy with the beeper. The way it is positioned, it's right next to my dog's ear. He goes crazy when it goes off, even at the low setting. Progarmming it was easy but I wish it was designed differently.

This is a great collar. Easy to set-up and use. Came with 2 sizes of contact points. Just perfect.

Issues with beeper

This collar works fine. The only issue I have with it is the beeper. Sometimes, it won't stop. Tried it several times and as soon as my dog moves after moving a target, it will start beeping and wont stop. Other features like the vibration and static work well.

This is a great collar. It comes with a video that's really handy for training. The unit itself is easy to use and train with. The range is excellent.
