Great deterrent

I think this product works best if the area you need it to cover is smaller. I keep one near the stairs and it keeps my dog away from there. He doesn't try to hop the stairs or anything. But the one I have on the window sill is another matter. My dog can still move on the sides so it's only effective on a limited radius.

Works as advertised

This works excatly as described. However, if you are on the fence about ecollars, this may not be for you. The device uses shock as a deterrent. I tested it on my arm and I can honestly say it doesn't hurt at all. It's uncomfortable at best. But the prongs on the collar can be very intimidating.
