The set comes with 500 feet of wire that can cover up to an area of 1/3 acre. Got more space? No worries. The Basic In-Ground E-Fence system can be expanded up to 5-acres with the purchase of additional wire.

Adjustable Correction and Run-Through Protection

The PetSafe® PIG00-14582 Basic In-Ground Fence e-fence system comes with the PetSafe® Deluxe UltraLight™ Receiver Collar for dogs 8 pounds and up with neck sizes between 6-26 inches. The collar has 4 levels of static correction that’s adjustable to fit the dog’s temperament and needs. It also has a tone-only mode.

What’s more, the system has unique run-through prevention. If your dog attempts to run through your designated boundary, the static correction will increase, deterring your dog from going further.

An automatic shut-off feature is also in place that prevents your dog from being over-corrected if they stay in the correction zone for 30 seconds.

Replaceable Battery

The PetSafe® PIG00-14582 Basic In-Ground Fence e-fence system’s receiver collar is battery-operated. That means less time spent on charging the device and more time spent enjoying the outdoors.
