I was told to get a bark collar instead of a remote trainer to solve my lab mix's barking problem. The thing is I didn't want her to not bark ever. I just needed her to stop barking at the neighbors and their dogs. I was told the bark collar will trigger a correction every time a dog barks so I figure I'll just get a remote trainer and correct her manually myself. Admittedly, it's harder because I had to be on a constant lookout for the barking so I can correct her immediately. But with enough patience, it did the trick. Lilo understands what the beep means and stops barking.

We originally bought this because we're very active, outdoorsy kind of people. We go on hikes almost every weekend and we take our beagle with us. We usually have him on a leash and wanted to give him more freedom. The collar let him roam free and we use the tone to signal him to return to our side. We have since reliazed that the collar can be used to train him for other things too like staying inside the yard and going back inside the house when called. We love that this doesn't hurt him at all.

My dog is sensitive so I prefer not to use the zapping stimulation for her. The vibration and tone seem to be working well for her. She's a barker so I'm training her not to bark at everything. It took two taps of the vibration before he stopped barking so I adjusted and tried the tone first to distract him and then add one tap of the vibrate if he persists. So far it's working.

I have a very friendly corgi. He literally barked at anyone that we encountered outside. He also barked at everyone that walked past the yard. He really thought every single person is there to chat and play with him. It was driving me nuts and it couldn't have been very fun for all those people either. This was purchased to correct that behavior. The collar is very easy to use. I thought it would be a challenge but training is going along better than expected.He's already improved so much.

We live in a high traffic area and it's been driving my retriever mad with all the noise from both people and vehicles coming and going. He's barking all day and by night time, he'll be all hoarse and sad. We needed something to help him re-focus and stop barking. This collar worked perfectly for that purpose. One zap is enough to distract him from all the activity outside and stop barking.
