I knew I wanted to get an Educator Collar because all the reviews I read were positive. However, I wasn't sure which particular model would work best. I called customer service and spoke to a guy who spent half an hour just going through models with me so I can get the best one for my dog. I like the stopwatch remote on this. It fits my hand well and I like that the features are easy to use too.

"I have a Mini Educator and puchased this for the Finger Trainer button. The finger trainer can be programmed to issue a beep, vibration, or shock. It works as well as the Mini with the only downside being you can only use one type of correction with the Finger Trainer. If you wish to switch to a different one, you'll need to re-program it. It's not very difficult to do though. I've seen reviews saying a bungee collar would be better and I have to agree. A quicksnap bungee collar will make it so much easier to put the collar on your dog. Educator has bungee collars you can purchase as an accessory if you are so inclined. Another thing I would recommend is a better contact point especially if you have a long-haired or thick-coated dog like I do. Longer contact points will ensure better and more consistent correction. This model has 100 levels of stimulation. My dog is a tad hard headed and I usually have him on level 7-8. I can go up to 15 if he's being particularly difficult or if he's very distracted. "

I spent a lot of time researching e-collars because I wanted to make sure I get the right one. This is the right one for my dog. I'm very happy with it. It's like having an extension of my voice, my hand, and the leash. I usually use vibration more than the shock.

This collar is the best. I was worried it will be difficult to use but it wasn't. The directions on the manual were easy to understand and I didn't have to spend too much time with set up and getting it to work. Highly recommend!

Bought for a goldendoodle puppy that's 10 months old. very stubborn. Bites her leash. Barks after people and other dogs.

We were considering seeking professional training for her but thought we'll give e collars a try first. We were hesitant about using any type of shock so we wanted an e collar that has vibration. Research led us to Educator collars.

We purchased this collar and tested the shock feature. However, we noticed that the vibration is enough to get her attention and make her re-focus so we were very happy that we did not have to use the shock after all. This has helped adjust our pup's behavior tremendously. She's now very behaved on walks.

The battery could last longer but this is still a very good e collar. We're happy.

Get the bungee collar if you want a more snug fit.

This is the best ecollar we have used in recent years. The transmitter buttons are designed well and makes for easy customization and use. Very effective and safe.

Only ever used tone and it works amazingly well. Great training tool!

The remote has up to 100 levels which is fantastic. We didn't go all the way to 100 obviously but it's nice to have options. The finger button was great to make sure the correction is issued as soon as needed. This has really done wonders for dog training. Such a wonderful device.

We love the Mini Educator FT-330 Finger Trainer. It has a Continuous vs Momentary function and also a vibration feature. Setting it up was easy. You can reserve the red button for emergencies and set up the stimulation for urgent recall. Very intuitive. We highly recommend.
