How does the Dogtra 280X differ from the 1900X?

The 280X is a compact device designed for dogs 10 lbs and up. It has a 1/2-mile range and provides medium stimulation output, making it ideal for small to medium-sized dogs.
In contrast, the 1900X is built for dogs 35 lbs and up, offering an impressive 3/4-mile range. It delivers high stimulation output, making it better suited for strong-willed or larger breeds.

What is the difference between the 280X and 280C?

The 280X features a redesigned remote and e-collar setup with a double-layered protective front plate, central Nick/Continuous command button, tone, boost, safety lock, XPP Vibration, LED light button, and a large LED screen. It can also support up to 3 dogs.
The 280C only offers HPP Vibration, Nick, and Continuous buttons. Both e-collars are compact, but the 280X includes an LED light, audible tone, power button, and plastic contact covers.

Can I use the 280C e-collar on the 280X remote?
- Users can pair the 280C e-collar to the 280X remote however, there are certain limitations in access to features accessible only on the 280X e-collar such as tone, XPP vibration and the LED e-collar light as well as the requirement to power on the 280C requires a magnetic on that the 280X cannot provide.
Is the 280X stronger than the 280C?

The 280X output levels are not equivalent to the 280C. For example a 280C performing at the full 127 is equivalent to a level 80 on the 280X. The 280X also features Extreme Performance Pager Vibration, delivering a stronger impact compared to the 280C’s High Performance Vibration.
When transitioning from the 280C to the 280X, we do recommend finding your dog's new working level in this system.
Can I pair my Handsfree Squares to the 280X?
- HANDSFREE PLUS Squares are compatible with the 280X and users can pair up to 14 squares to the 280X or X1 Remote Transmitter.

No, the vibration is not adjustable. It is the same strength regardless if you are on 0 or 100.

Warranty and Returns
How long is the warranty?

How do I cancel an order?

We have a 365-day money-back guarantee. For return requests, please email us at customerservice@petstek.com. Please note that a return shipping label is provided only for cases where the product received is defective, damaged in transit or the wrong item was sent. Where the return reason is change of mind or if an incorrect order was submitted through no fault of PetsTEK, return shipping will be shouldered by the customer.
Can I get a refund?
You will receive a full product refund after the item has arrived at our return facility and was checked in.
