Dogtra collars are amazingly durable. I had an older model that lasted 10 years. When it finally died, I purchased this one. It's similar but very much improved. I like that the remote is slimmer and easier to handle. The collar on the dog is similarly slimmer. I have a 50 pound labrador and the collar just fits better. This model is expandable and adding a second collar is fairly easy. I really love this e collar. 100% recommend.

I was hesitant to get a shock collar but my trainer eased my worries and recommended I get this brand. I shouldn't have waited so long. Just a few days of using this and my dog has already shown vast improvement. After a few weeks, he's no longer leash reactive.

E-collars are easily misunderstood and easier still to use incorrectly and hurt a dog. I suggest talking to a trainer so you know how to use it properly.

I needed this to train my german shepherd. The ARC collar helped her learn quickly. We have progressed to the point that I don't even need to use the shock anymore. She knows that the collar means she has to behave. I no longer worry about countersurfing and digging stuff up. Great for training, highly recommend.

I love the Dogtra ARC so much. They're just perfect for multiple dogs. My dogs love playing rough, regardless of weather. I've used many cheaper collars over the years. They all broke down within a few weeks to a few months. The ARC is the only one that lasted.

I also like that this is expandable and I can use the same remote for 2 dogs. The remote is intuitive and I never worry that I am correcting the wrong dog. This also has fabtastic range as well as sound and vibrate options. I'd really rather not use shock on my dogs so the different stimulation options are a win in my book.

My dogs never reacted badly to the ARC collar unlike with cheaper collars. The collar fits my dogs well. The entire set feels very sturdy and you know they're of good quality. I hope this lasts us years.

I have a yellow lab that's been trained on this. She respects this collar and knows what it means when she has it on. I barely have to turn the collar on now. She follows commands without much issue.

Owner of yellow lab puppy. This is a very well made collar. It's waterproof. The collar itself is long and can easily fit the necks of various breeds. It's an excellent tool for leash training.

Our dog trainer recommended this to help with our training. This has been a fantastic addition honestly. The collar has a pretty wide range and is waterproof which is great because my dog has not seen a puddle he didn't like. I hope the battery lasts a bit longer as I find myself charging the unit every night. But other than that, this works great.

I have a young german shepherd and purchased this upon the recommendation of my dog trainer. I held off because I wanted my dog to at least learn the basic commands before using an e-collar. When I started e-collar training, I have already studied its purpose and use and watched a lot of training videos. I recommend that anyone starting with e-collar training do the same. Proper usage is the key to not harming your dog.

Even after learning the proper usage, I still found it a bit of a triggle to get used to using an e-collar. But consistent training has both me and my dog comfortable with this set-up.

This is a very reliable e-collar. The remote fits my hand well. The only feedback I have is I hope the belt clip can be improved. I think the way it is now, it's hard to slip onto a belt. For now I am using a carabine to attach the remote to my belt instead.

Our dog is off-leash thanks in great part to this Dogtra e-collar. It took us a few weeks to gently get her acquainted with the collar and get used to having it on her neck. Then a couple of weeks or so of training her to associate the stimulation with the voice commands and ignore distractions. We're very happy with this collar. It has made outdoor adventures fun and safe for my dog.

We've only ever used Dogtra Ecollars for all our dogs. They've always worked great. One thing Dogtra can improve though is the battery life. I'm finding we have to get new batteries every few months.

This is an expandable collar and it works. I just find it easier to use 2 separate collars so I don't get too confused about which button is for which dog.

First time ecollar user. From what I observe with my dog, it doesn't hurt at all. Maybe a little uncomfortable because it uses shock but definitely not injuring my dog. I never saw her shaling her head or reacting violently like what some articles online say. This is fairly easy to use too. Training is going well.

I've always used Dogtra collars for my dogs. The ARC is my latest purchase and I am very satisfied with it. Set up is easy and perfect for what I need it for. The battery life is impressive. The intensity range is perfect. Whether you have a dog with high or low sensitivity, this model has it covered. I also like that the remote is less blocky compared to older models. This ergonomic design feels so much better on my hand.

Decent product. I have a larger breed dog and I think the shock on this model may not be enough for large dog breeds.

Ecollars are very important and helpful in training. Our dog is aggressive and this has helped tremendously. We can let him run around now and he comes back when signalled.
