Need better contact points

My dog is a barker. Our dog trainer recommended getting this to train him to bark less. Sadly, the contact points barely touch his neck. He has long hair so we thought that maybe longer points would work better. They did not. I did not want the collar to be tighter than it already was for fear of choking him. Customer service was a great help but we tried every suggestion short of shaving his hair (which I refuse to do). I don't doubt this will work for other dogs with short hair. It's just not for us.

Got rid of the obnoxious barking

I have a couple of dogs that think their job is to protect our yard at all costs. This meant barking at everyone they see out on the street. We also live in a high foot traffic area so the barking can get annoying fast. Our dog trainer suggested getting a bark collar. Worked like a charm. The dogs still barked but not to the levels where it's obnoxious.
